U20 code '0' experience (re: Allen Townsend 2018 question)
« on: March 01, 2019, 07:18:28 PM »
Sorry, have not been on the FORUM for quite a while.  I've been running code '0's on the U20 for years in handicap racing with a lot of success.  They add a new dimension to sailing this awesome boat, if nothing else just more fun.  Sailing four legs of a twice around W/L (skewed) course with the spinnaker flying can be a lot of fun and certainly turns some heads.

Do you have any pictures of the boat flying the sail?

Thanks

Don,  I would also appreciate a picture or two of you flying your code 0 or other nonstandard headsails if you have any to post.

Thanks for your call yesterday.  It sounds like this will be a good sail for me to add to my inventory.  I have ordered a code 0 from Tac Boston.  I also just purchased a Ronstan 80 top down furler which I will be trying out this spring with both the code 0 and the class asymmetrical spinnaker.  If anyone is interested, I will try to post some pictures.
