SARNIA ONE-DESIGN REGATTA
Ontario Championships

JULY 2ND, 3RD & 4TH 2010

SARNIA YACHT CLUB, SARNIA ONTARIO CANADA

S2 7.9
ULTIMATE 20
VIPER 640

Three days of racing (pending class decision)

Friday 3-4 races Social at the Club
Saturday 4-5 races Social at the Club
Sunday 2 races Awards and pack up

Fee’s $50.00 US/CAN

Dockage and ramp available at SYC and is included in the entry fee.

Friday night get together to be arranged
Saturday social event planned at SYC clubhouse -$10.00 per person
Sunday muchies-free
Awards to be presented on Sunday afternoon after racing
No races to be started after 2 pm on Sunday

Team scram #159 has it on the agenda and once again looking forward to sailing on Lake Huron in Sarnia.

Goombay is there.... Maybe if it is finished being repaired I can play with you guys.   Any idea how to transport a mast without a boat or trailer?

There is a boat for sale in Sarnia...Worst case scenario : nothing is broken.  Best case scenario it will sell with a replacement carbon mast...  ;D

Hey Guy's,
Sorry I have been slacking putting pressure on people to see who is going to make the regatta. Don't count us out yet... I will get a firm # of boats and let you know how many we have soon. As you know we have had great regattas here in the past and I an sure it will continue.

We have always had great racing and fun. Let's here from more boats...

I have not gotten a final yes or no yet.  That is the plan at this time is to come on July 1 to put it together.

Brad and all,

Had to come and pick up Goombay yesterday 14 hours on the road.  Crew was unavailable and I am leaving for California... Too much in a short period of time.

Sail fast all and let us know how it goes.

You guys all missed a great event! 11 races of 3 days in great breeze and awesome weather. We had 6 U-20's, 7 Vipers and 6 S2's.

Great racing with Honour winning, Jim Pearson and Brad in Second and the long distance traveler Steve Rose was 3rd!

What a great week end in Sarnia.  Thanks to the Boston family. Everyone not attending missed Steve's Goombay smashes (one of our crew was the DD which I thought standed for designated driver, not drunk driver...) and a great week end on and off the water.  Plan this one for next year.
